Established in 2016 the G.M.YOGA studio is a small, relaxing, intimate and tranquil place, located in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, at the junction of Hedsor Road and Station Road.
I teach a maximum of eight students at any one time, therefore I can offer more time to each student, giving that one to one feeling even in a group class. All of my clients are lovely people, therefore if you're new to classes at the studio - I can assure you that everyone will make you feel very welcome. Some lovely friendships have been made at G.M. YOGA. You will feel well looked after from the moment you step inside, to when you float out of the studio
Ifyou prefer a less busy and homely quiet environment in which to practice Yoga the G.M. YOGA studio will suit you. Classes need to be booked - please do not just turn up, as the studio may be closed.
All equipment can be provided if needed, however, please feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

All of my Yoga classes are designed to help calm the mind and aid relaxation, increase muscle strength and tone, increase endurance, improve balance and flexibility, improve co-ordination, improve respiration, energy and vitality, assist with weight reduction, improve cardio and circulatory health, improve athletic performance - all whilst focusing and maintaining connection to breath. Classes are adapted to suit individual ability as required.
A typical class with me will include initial relaxation with deep yogic breathing (guided Pranayama - the regulation of breath), and stretching to warm the body, followed by main asana (postural) practice, where postures are held, and sequences flow from one to the other. After the main practice the class cools down with progressive relaxation combined with aromatherapy (by electric candlelight) and more guided Pranayama (yogic breath). Throughout each class I give demonstrations, modifications and advise of the benefits of each asana with hands on assistance where necessary.
All of my classes are practiced to carefully selected uplifting and relaxing music.
I have a supply of yoga mats, blocks and belts for participants who wish to borrow on the day. Blankets, bolsters and cushions are available to aid comfort, or for warmth during relaxation. Towels are available if needed.
If you are considering taking up yoga, please be assured - you do not have to be flexible to enjoy yoga. My classes are very relaxed and fun. I will push you to challenge yourself, but never force you to do something your are not comfortable with - I will offer alternatives if needed. My fundamental aim is for you to have fun, improve your fitness and RELAX. On top of that yoga brings many health benefits. You will meet lovely, kind people at G.M. YOGA. Many lovely friendships have been made amongst the G.M. YOGA community.
