A Retreat in Rural Gascony

The Sanctuary

Nestled within the peaceful hamlet of Lieu-dit Maoube in Ladevèze-Rivière, our retreat is set in the heart of France’s breathtaking Gascony region. Here, you can truly escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.


Our home for the getaway is a stunning, beautifully restored Gascon farmhouse, which is completely enclosed and private. This expansive estate features a gorgeous studio space - we have a barn with an outside mezzanine overlooking the garden.  At the other end of the barn is a completely enclosed studio with a wood-burning stove for chilly days/nights.  There is a beautiful swimming pool, historic outbuildings, and tranquil sun-drenched gardens—all enveloped by idyllic rural countryside. It is the perfect sanctuary to unwind, reset, and relax.


Getting There

Flights are from Stansted to Lourdes.

Travel is simple and stress-free for your arrival. Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées Airport (LDE) is just 38 kilometres away. With a straightforward, scenic drive of around 35 minutes to the farmhouse, your retreat experience begins almost the moment you land.


What's Included?

  • Full Board - this includes 3 meals a day and all drinks and snacks.  Also included is local wine (if you like a little tipple)  but no other alcohol.  Breakfast and lunch will be served on a buffet basis, and dinner will be a 3 course meal plus cheese.


  • During the day tea/coffee & homemade cakes/biscuits  are on offer and available.


  • Group Walking and Bicycle Hire.


  • There will be daily Yoga, breathwork and meditation. All equipment is provided.


  • Transfers to and from the Airport. Note transfer is only available for those traveling on the same flight.



Activities & Therapies Available

Therapy treatments are available at the venue at an additional cost.  Click here for more information.  To ensure your ultimate relaxation, all treatments must be booked in advance. To give you maximum flexibility, you don't need to choose your exact therapy right now—simply reserve the amount of time you would like. Once you arrive  you can select your preferred treatments.

Please note: All therapies are payable in Euros prior to your treatment.


The location is a fantastic hub for local activities,  Locally there are daily markets, vineyards, jazz in Marciac, Lourdes, the Pyrenées mountains, and producers of Armagnac.  Everything from canoeing, fishing, and horse riding to golf, tennis, and wakeboarding is available. Whatever your pace, we want to help you make the most of your stay. If there is a particular activity you would love to try, please let me know in advance so I can happily arrange everything for you before you arrive.


For guests who wish to sightsee and travel to different locations on a daily basis, hiring a car is essential. Our rural location is wonderfully peaceful, and a car offers the freedom to explore the beautiful surrounding Gascon countryside at your own pace.

All rooms and prices are based on two people sharing. Specific rooms will be offered on a first come first serve basis.


Single occupancy is charged at 150%.


Travel Insurance is not included.


Flights are not included. FYI - I will notify you when flights to Lourdes are released, so we can all book the same flight.

To confirm your place a non- refundable depost of £250 will be required. The final balance is due 14 weeks prior to arrival.
