Whether you're new to Yoga or have been practicing for years, you're bound to have questions. That's perfectly normal, and there is no such thing as a silly question. If you're looking to align body and mind, the following FAQ's may be useful.

What kind of Yoga do you teach?

My classes are inclusive for all levels of experience, and are a mixture of Slow Hatha Flow, Vinyasa Flow, and Stretch.


Will Yoga make me strong?

Short answer - yes!


Is there studio etiquette I should be aware of?
Yes. In all yoga classes, it is polite to remove your shoes before walking into the class and to avoid walking dirt across the floor. In addition, it is also polite to not stand or walk across other participant's yoga mats with you bare feet - walk around or step over them (nobody likes to lay their head/body where someone else's feet have been).


Am I flexible enough?

No you don't have to be flexible to do Yoga,  although your flexibility will increase over time with your Yoga practice.


What should I wear?
Please where comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely i.e. gym attire, or a t-shirt and leggings/shorts will be fine. 


What should I wear on my feet?
Yoga is practiced barefoot, however if you have any foot infections such as athletes foot or a verruca please wear sticky bottom socks.

Can I eat before a class?
Please allow 2 hours if you having a meal before you participate. Otherwise you may get heartburn or indigestion. If you are attending an early morning session please have something very light to eat beforehand i.e. a piece of toast approx one hour before participating to give you a little energy.

Do you have showers or changing room?
There are showers and changing rooms at Badgemore Park, in Henley on Thames, but only WC facilities at the other venues where I teach
